How to Apply Coloured Builder Gel from the Icon Collection

1. Prep your nails thoroughly (follow our full 'Nail Preparation' guide).
2. Apply one coat of 2in1 Base Coat and Extension Gel Adhesive, cap the free edge, and cure for 60 seconds.
3. Option 1: Structure Application
   1. Apply a thin slip layer of your chosen Icon shade (do not cure).
   2. Pick up a bead of the Coloured Builder Gel and float it over the nail to create shape and apex.
   3. Use a liner brush to guide the gel evenly.
   4. Flip your hand upside down briefly to self-level.
   5. Flash cure for 10 seconds, then cure the whole hand for 60 seconds.
   6. Optional: Cleanse and refine with Alcohol Prep Pad, Buffer, and File.
   7. Apply No Wipe Top Coat, cure, and finish with Cuticle Oil.
4. Option 2: Quick Application
   1. Apply 2 thin coats of your Icon shade, curing each for 60 seconds.
   2. Finish with No Wipe Top Coat and Cuticle Oil.

How to Infill Your Icon Coloured Builder Gel

1. File down the top coat and reduce bulk around regrowth.
2. Push back cuticles and clean with Pro Cuticle Pusher.
3. Buff regrowth area with Essential Buffer.
4. Cleanse with Alcohol Prep Pad.
5. Apply Nail Dehydrator and Nail Primer to exposed nail if needed.
6. Apply 2in1 Base Coat, cure.
7. Apply slip layer of the same Icon shade (don’t cure).
8. Float a bead of gel to rebuild structure.
9. Use liner brush to blend seamlessly.
10. Flip hand, flash cure 10 seconds, then full cure.
11. Optional: Cleanse and refine.
12. Apply No Wipe Top Coat, cure, finish with Cuticle Oil.

How to Remove Coloured Builder Gel

1. Buff off 80% of the gel with Remover File.
2. Apply two coats of Gel Remover, wait 30 seconds between each.
3. Let sit for 3–5 minutes.
4. Use Pro Scraper Tool to lift flaking gel.
5. Buff off residue with Essential Buffer.
6. Wash your hands—you’re ready for a fresh mani!
