Gel Removal Without the Setup: Ezmio's Pre-Soaked Acetone Remover Wraps

The part of doing your own gel nails that nobody loves is removal. Specifically, the setup: acetone, cotton pads, tin foil cut into strips, a bowl, clips or foil wraps to hold everything in place, then 10 to 15 minutes of waiting while trying not to knock anything over. It gets the job done. It has always gotten the job done. It is also several steps of preparation before you have started removing anything, and I have wanted to remove that friction for a while.

The Pre-Soaked Acetone Remover Wraps are what that looks like.

Each wrap comes pre-filled and is ready to use straight from the sachet. No acetone to separately pour or measure, no foil to cut, no cotton pads, no bowls. Tear the sachet, place your finger inside, peel the backing off the built-in adhesive strip and press the sides together to create a secure seal, leave on for 10 to 15 minutes, then remove and use the Pro Scraper Tool to ease the softened gel away. That is the entire process.

The Detail That Makes It Work

The built-in self-sealing adhesive strip is what replaces the foil, and it is what makes this format genuinely different from just pre-soaking a cotton pad, because the wrap creates a secure, leak-resistant seal that keeps the remover pad firmly against the nail throughout the soak rather than shifting the moment you move your hand, which is precisely why foil has always been part of the standard removal process in the first place.

The formula is enriched with Aloe Vera and Pro-Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), which care for the surrounding skin during the removal process and help keep it hydrated throughout the soak.

A small detail. Worth including.

What They Work With

The wraps work with the full Ezmio gel range: One Step Gel Polish, Builder Gel, and Soft Gel Extensions. Builder Gel and Soft Gel Extensions may need additional wraps or longer soak time after filing, depending on how thick the application was; the thicker the product, the more time the formula needs to penetrate it. That is how gel removal works regardless of the method. If gel remains after the first soak, apply a fresh wrap for a further five minutes rather than forcing the scraper.

How to Use Them

  1. Gently file the surface of your gel until approximately 20% of the product remains.
  2. Tear open the sachet along the notch.
  3. Place your finger inside the wrap so the cotton pad covers your entire nail.
  4. Remove the backing from the adhesive strip and press the sides firmly together to create a secure seal around your finger.
  5. Leave on for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the formula to soften the gel.
  6. Remove the wrap and use the Pro Scraper Tool to ease away the softened gel, working from the cuticle toward the tip of the nail.

Never force or scrape remaining product. Re-wrap for a further five minutes and let the formula do the work. Finish by lightly buffing the nail and applying cuticle oil or hand cream to restore moisture.

The Numbers

Each pack contains 200 pre-soaked wraps, which covers up to 20 complete gel removals at 10 fingers per set. That is 20 full sets worth of removal in one pack.

Doing gel nails at home has always made sense on cost, convenience, and results. Removal was the last part of the process that still required separate products and setup every time. These wraps close that gap.
