Essential Builder Gel Nail Kit

Application

For the perfect nail prep, please ensure you have read and followed our detailed ‘How To’ guide under ‘Nail Preparation’ HERE.

OPTION ONE - Builder Gel Structure Application

1. Begin by applying one coat of our 2in1 Base Coat and Extension Gel Adhesive. Be sure to cap the free edge for a complete seal, then cure for 60 seconds under
   our Nail Lamp.
2. Apply a thin, even layer of Coloured Builder Gel — this is your slip layer (do not cure this layer)
3. Pick up a small bead of Coloured Builder Gel and float it over the nail to build structure, focusing on creating a smooth apex.
4. Use a thin liner brush in our Nail Art Brush Set to gently guide the gel toward the side walls and cuticle line for even coverage.
5. Turn your hand upside down for a few seconds to help the gel self-level and create the perfect shape.
6. Flash cure the nail for 10 seconds under the Ezmio Nail Lamp or Flash Cure Lamp to prevent the gel from moving.
7. Complete one finger at a time, then cure the entire hand for using the 99s low heat mode setting (this will help avoid heat spikes).
8. Optional – After curing, remove the sticky layer with an Alcohol Prep Pad, then refine the shape of your nails using our Essential Buffer and Essential File.
9. Apply a coat of our No Wipe Top Coat, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 60 seconds under our Nail Lamp.
10. Finish by applying Cuticle Oil and gently massaging it into your skin for a salon-quality result.

OPTION TWO - Quick Application

1. Begin by applying one coat of our 2in1 Base Coat and Extension Gel Adhesive. Be sure to cap the free edge for a complete seal, then cure for 60 seconds under
   our Nail Lamp.
2. Apply 2 thin coats of Coloured Builder Gel, curing using the 99s low heat mode setting (this will help avoid heat spikes).
3. Apply a coat of our No Wipe Top Coat, making sure to cap the free edge. Cure for 60 seconds under our Nail Lamp.
4. Finish by applying Cuticle Oil and gently massaging it into your skin for a salon-quality result.

Removal

There are multiple ways to remove your Ezmio manicure.

Option 1: Pre-Soaked Acetone Gel Remover Wraps

1. Gently file the surface of your gel enhancement until approximately 20% of the product remains.
2. Tear open the sachet along the dotted line.
3. Place your finger inside the wrap, ensuring the cotton pad completely covers your nail.
4. Remove the backing from the adhesive strip, then wrap and press firmly to create a secure seal around your finger.
5. Leave on for 10–15 minutes.
6. Remove the wrap and gently use the Ezmio Pro Scraper Tool to lift away the softened gel.

💡 Pro Tip: Always work from the cuticle towards the tip of the nail. Never force or scrape away any remaining product. If any gel remains, apply a fresh wrap and leave for a further 5 minutes. Finish by lightly buffing the nail and applying cuticle oil or hand cream to restore moisture.

Please note: Removal time may vary depending on the thickness of your application. Builder Gel and Soft Gel Extensions may require additional wraps or soaking time after filing the surface.

Option 2: Acetone Soak-Off with Foil Gel Remover Wraps

1. Gently file the surface of your gel enhancement until approximately 20% of the product remains.
2. Saturate the attached cotton pad with acetone.
3. Place the cotton pad directly over the nail and wrap the foil tightly around your finger to create a secure seal.
4. Leave on for 10–15 minutes.
5. Remove the wrap and gently use the Ezmio Pro Scraper Tool to lift away the softened gel.

💡 Pro Tip: Always work from the cuticle towards the tip of the nail. Never force or scrape away any remaining product. If any gel remains, re-wrap the nail for a further 5 minutes. Finish by lightly buffing the nail and applying cuticle oil or hand cream to restore moisture.

Please note: Removal time may vary depending on the thickness of your application.

Option 3: Peel Off Base Coat

If you applied Ezmio Peel Off Base Coat underneath your gel polish:

1. Using the flat side of an Orange Wood Stick, gently glide along the edge of your gel polish to lift it from the nail.
2. Once the product begins to lift, gently peel away the remaining gel using your fingers.
3. Lightly buff away any remaining residue using the Ezmio Essential Buffer.
4. Wipe the nail clean with an Alcohol Prep Pad.
5. Finish by applying cuticle oil or hand cream to restore moisture.

For gel storage: Store your One Step Gel polish upright in a cool, dry, dark place. Seal caps tightly, clean bottle necks after use, and avoid heat, humidity, and direct sunlight to maintain consistency and prevent clumping. For best quality, use within 12 months of opening.

All Ezmio gels are formulated without HEMA.

HEMA is the ingredient hiding in most gel polish, builder gel, and nail glue - great for adhesion, but also one of the biggest sensitisers in the nail industry. Repeated exposure can trigger allergic contact dermatitis, and once that reaction develops, it's permanent. Even trace exposure down the track can set it off.
