Ezmio Ingredients

Discover the safe, high-quality ingredients in our formulas.

Why do some of the ingredient names look so scientific now?

We’ve updated our ingredient listings to follow INCI naming (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) — the global standard for cosmetic labelling. It’s a legal requirement in Australia and ensures we’re being transparent and consistent across every country we ship to.
Rest assured: the formula hasn’t changed. We’re just using the official names — for example, Tocopherol is just Vitamin E, and Simmondsia Chinensis is jojoba oil.

Are Ezmio and Gojelle products PFAS-Free?

Yes! None of our nail products contain PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), also known as “forever chemicals.” We’ve reviewed every formulation with our compliance team to ensure they meet the highest safety standards — including PFAS-free status.

What does "INCI" actually mean?

INCI stands for International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients. It’s a standardised naming system for skincare, nail, and beauty ingredients, so no matter where you are in the world, you can understand exactly what’s in your products — even if the names look a little scientific!

We use INCI to make sure our labels are compliant, safe, and crystal clear.

Do you list ingredients in order of concentration?

Yes! We follow the descending order rule, which means ingredients are listed from highest to lowest concentration. This is part of our compliance with Australian cosmetic regulations and helps customers make more informed choices.

I have allergies or sensitive skin, how do I know which ingredients to avoid?

We recommend:

  • Checking the full INCI list on each product page
  • Looking out for known allergens (e.g. acrylates, hydroquinone, or fragrance)

If you’re unsure, it’s always best to perform a patch test:

  • Apply a small amount of the product to your nails.
  • Wait 24–48 hours to check for any redness, itching, or irritation.
