Ezmio One Step Gel FAQ's

Learn all about application, wear, and safe removal.

What is Ezmio One Step Gel?

Ezmio One Step Gel is a revolutionary gel polish that combines base coat, colour, and top coat all in one! This means you can achieve salon-quality nails with fewer steps, saving you time without compromising on shine or durability. Available in a wide range of colours, it’s perfect for both beginners and pros, offering a long-lasting, easy application.

How long does Ezmio One Step Gel last?

Ezmio One Step Gel is designed to last up to 14 days with proper application. Its long-lasting, chip-resistant formula ensures your nails stay vibrant and glossy throughout wear. For the best results, make sure to prep your nails properly and follow our application steps to lock in that gorgeous, salon-quality finish.

Do I have to use a base and top coat with Ezmio One Step Gel?

No, you don’t need a separate base or top coat with Ezmio One Step Gel! It’s specially formulated to include both in one product, making your manicure quicker and easier. Simply apply the gel and cure it under a UV/LED lamp, and you’re all set with a beautiful, long-lasting finish. However, if you want extra durability and shine you can incorporate 2in1 Base Coat and Extension Gel Adhesive and No Wipe Top Coat for added protection. Also, if your nails are prone to chipping or peeling, using a thin base coat might improve adhesion.

How do I apply Ezmio One Step Gel?

Applying Ezmio One Step Gel is quick and easy! Here’s how:

  1. Prep your nails – Start with clean, dry nails. Push back your cuticles, lightly buff the surface, and wipe away any dust or oils with a lint-free wipe and 100% alcohol OR a Dehydrator.
  2. Apply a thin layer – Roll the bottle between your palms and apply a thin layer of Ezmio One Step Gel, ensuring you cover the entire nail and leaving a slight space between the nail plate and your cuticle- avoid getting any gel on your skin.
  3. Cure under our nail lamp – Cure the gel for 60 seconds under our nail lamp.
  4. Apply additional layers – Until you achieve your desired opacity, curing each layer.
  5. You’re done! – There’s no need for a base or top coat, so once cured, your nails are ready to go!

How do I remove Ezmio One Step Gel?

There are two ways to remove your Ezmio Gel manicure:

Option 1: Peel Off Base Coat

If you applied Ezmio Peel Off Base Coat underneath your Gel:

  1. Using the flat side of an Orange Wood Stick, gently glide along the edge of your Builder Gel to lift it from the nail surface.
  2. Once the product begins to lift, gently peel away the remaining cured Builder Gel using your fingers.
  3. Lightly buff away any remaining residue using the Ezmio Essential Buffer.
  4. Wipe the nail clean using an Alcohol Prep Pad.
Option 2: Acetone Soak Off
  1. Using the Ezmio Remover File, gently file away approximately 80% of the Gel Polish.
  2. Soak a cotton pad with pure acetone and place it over the nail.
  3. Secure with foil wraps or soak-off clips and leave for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Use the Ezmio Scraper Tool to gently push away the softened Gel.
  5. If any product remains, re-soak and repeat. Never force or peel the product from the nail.
  6. Gently buff away any remaining gel residue using the Ezmio Essential Buffer.
  7. Finish by applying cuticle oil to nourish the nails and surrounding skin.

💡 Removal time may vary depending on the thickness of your application.

How long do I cure Ezmio One Step Gel for?

Ezmio One Step Gel should be cured for 60 seconds under our Nail Lamp to achieve a flawless, long-lasting finish. Be sure to follow this timing for the best results!

How do I store my Ezmio One Step Gel?

To keep your Ezmio One Step Gel in the best condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure the bottle is tightly sealed after each use to prevent the gel from thickening or curing inside the bottle. Avoid exposure to any UV/LED light when not in use, as this can cause the gel to harden prematurely.

Is Ezmio One Step Gel cruelty-free?

Yes, Ezmio One Step Gel is 100% cruelty-free! We are committed to ensuring that no animal testing is involved in the production or development of our products. You can enjoy beautiful nails with peace of mind, knowing our products are ethically made.

Should I shake Ezmio One Step Gel before applying it?

We recommend turning the bottle upside down and gently rolling it between your hands before each use. This helps mix the formula evenly, warm it slightly, and thin out the polish for a smooth, even application. Avoid shaking the bottle, as this can introduce air bubbles that may affect the finish.

Is Ezmio One Step Gel 12-free?

Yes, Ezmio One Step Gel is proudly 12-free! This means our formula is free from 12 harmful chemicals commonly found in nail products, including formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, and parabens. You can enjoy gorgeous nails knowing our gel is made with your health and safety in mind.

Why is my top coat peeling off my One Step Gel?

If your top coat is peeling, try wiping the cured surface of your One Step Gel with 100% alcohol before applying the top coat. This dulls the shine of the gel, allowing the top coat to adhere better and prevent peeling.

Why do the ingredient names look different now?

Great question! We've recently updated all our product ingredient lists to follow the INCI system (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients). INCI is the global standard for how cosmetic ingredients are labelled — and it's required for beauty brands in Australia and many other countries.

Same formula. Same results. Just more official and transparent.

You might now see ingredients listed with scientific names like “Acrylates Copolymer” or “Tocopherol” (that’s just Vitamin E!). Don’t worry — we’re still using the high-quality ingredients you love, and we’ll always explain the real-world benefits of our hero ingredients in easy-to-understand terms.
